Western Style, HUH?
Have to rant again.....about own hubby! We both went for his friend's wedding dinner on last Sat. ok, normal dinner at East Ocean Restaurant, but also a gathering for hubby and his ex-classmates. Surprisingly, his ex-gf was there too! Within an hour, these guys, include his ex and another ex-female-housemate (while studying in London) were cheering loud, banging on their drinking glasses. Like those who had never drink before! Drink what? Of course, liquor, they are all kaki botol!
This was not the main fact. The case that disturbed me was, hubby stayed close around with ex-gf, happily saying "cheers", but then I saw him wiping off the dirt on her face, WITH HIS HAND!!!! Oh man! This made my eyes open wide!
......urgh......eeeerrrrrr....I calmed myself down.......
After dinner, we extended our happy hours at a karaoke nearby. Hubby left me alone with two other ladies. How about him? Busy serving and entertaining around other guys and girls, knocking on beer glasses. He drank a lot that night. Don't know what made him so happy! Like he was the one who married, second wife!! I felt so uneasy when I saw him giggling away with other young girls. Although I was busy singing too, I was watching him on and off. It then happened again. His ex-female-housemate wanted to leave, and guess what they did? They hugged each other! eeeerrrrreeeerrr!!!! My eyes started to roll wide like balls.
I complained to hubby when he finally sat next to me. He just said," No big deal! I'm just showing the manner of western style. Somemore, that girl is fat, what to worry! You will always be my first priority, my beloved!"........heart started to melt, enjoying those sweet words......

i know EXACTLY what u mean! my hubby did the same years ago at his friend's wedding, and his ex-gf was there too. i guess he wanted to have all the fun that night, but eventually he made a fool of himself. do drunk and didn't know his own strength. pushed me and i flew and stuck to a pillar.
so mad, flowers next day also won't help!
u so cepat heart melt arrr...
guys always say sweet things to melt out heart. dunno whether its true or not. it makes me confused sometimes. my bf also brought me to his ex-gf's wedding 2 months ago. his mum asked me if im ok with it. of course im ok la cos im open minded. im not so "xiu hei". but i could see that he still miss the ex-gf. cos he didn't eat much during the dinner, keep on looking at the bride only.
Share with your hubs your feelings, and that living in a place surrounded by Asian mentalities, Western manners may provoke many unnecessarily stares and arguments tho they meant nothing but good gestures. Am sure yr hubs will understand.. and you have every right to be mad at him. I would too; and 1000x worse.. :P
