Chap Goh Meh
Well, today shows the end of Chinese New Year. I believe most of the Chinese know the history behind this day known as "Chap Goh Meh". If you are not sure, maybe you can click on the attached link above.
Today is just another usual day for me. I'm not going to celebrate this special day, even it is believed to be the Chinese Valentine's Day. I just don't carry out such culture. I already celebrated the western one......hehehe.... :P
Anyway, I'm going back to in-laws house for dinner tonight. Mother-in-law used to do "tai yat ji" ~ prayers celebration, and she is going to cook a lot again. Surely I'll find cooked chicken and ducks on the table. My MIL says those are a must for prayers celebration according to Chinese culture wor....
I guess most of the Chinese may have a reunion dinner with family tonight.
