A Surprise By Hubby

We were ready on hubby's car to set off to KL. He suddenly gave me a heart shape box and said,"This is your Christmas present." I was surprised and half of my anger suddenly disappeared. Sui sui yeong!! It is a watch with the brand Authentic Fossil. He told me that it's branded but I'm not sure whether I heard of it before.

I then asked him why he bought me a present. He said that he did it last year too. Arh?? Can't remember lo...was it a watch too or an h/p? Even though little bit happy inside but I'm very dai sei one ar...I said,"That's not I want. Go and check out my blog and Shirley's blog, and you'll know." I guess some of the people who read this here might be scolding me for my childish act.

My Family Trip To KL

I went to KL with my parents, Yan, Chung, my two kids and hubby last Wed. Eight of us squeezed ourselves in one car. I supposed to go to KL early Dec but since hubby was busy, we delayed it till that day. It was a 3 days 2 nights trip. We planned to stay in my uncle's place at Subang Jaya for the first night and in Genting the following night. However, all hotels in Genting are fully booked. So we just stayed on at my uncle's house. This trip was arranged mainly for my Wei Wei and especially Zhen Nam. It is time for him to expose more. The itinery for those days is briefly shared as below.

--Day 1--
By the time we reached KLCC, it was already 12:30pm. Zhen Nam was sleeping. We went to have lunch before we went to Aquaria KLCC. There are various type of water species to admire in Aquaria. There are sharks, turtles, tortoises and fish with all kinds of names, looks and sizes.

In this touch pool, you can touch the creature and snap photos with it. This owns a cat's face, so we call it Catfish.

These are some new species that I get to know.

Shovelnose Ray (long fish) -> left ; Pineapple Fish -> right

If you have the guts, you can even dive with sharks! You can experience the adrenaline rush of coming face-to-face with the most facinating marine life such as the Sand Tiger Sharks, Giant Blotched Fantail Ray, Moray Eels, Giant Groupers and others. www.klaquaria.com

Wei Wei likes the clown fish a lot because of the movie 'Finding Nemo'. At around 5pm, we headed to uncle's house and that night we had japanese food for dinner.

--Day 2--
We arrived at National Zoo nearly noon. Quite disappointed because not many animals to see. Most of them were sleeping. Maybe of the warm weather. Only the orang utan was active, showing poses for us to take photos. Couldn't wait for the show at 3:30pm. Zhen Nam was too tired and he slept. We left at 2pm.

We then went to visit my eldest uncle at Wangsa Maju. We stayed till 5pm and then proceeded to Parkson at Subang Jaya. Children had some fun at the amusement park and we took some snack at Pizza Hut.

--Day 3--
This was an enjoyable day for the children because we were at Sunway Lagoon. Unfortunately, we didn't bring any swimming suits. So we only took tickets for dry park and wildlife package. There are so many things to play.

Ferris Wheel was the first to take. Wei and Nam had fun there, even my mum tried for it the first time. Chung was so coward! He was so scared in there that he squatted down because he dared not look down. Hubby, children and I had a ride on Morphis Simulator. It gives you fully 3D simulation experience. Wei was quite brave. She took the Butch Cassidy's Trail (sit in a shoe form trail and being spinned and flung outward) and The Vulture (something like flying aeroplane) for a few rounds. I was so dizzy and a bit scared after one round in Butch with her. aihhh...maybe I'm old already. I took roller coaster with my hubby too. Had to scream to ease my fear.

We visited the wildlife park too. We could come face to face with wild animals and snap photos with them.

Left ~ We worried that the snake would bite.
Right ~ I was worried that the parrot might bite my face with its beak!

Since time was consuming, we left for Ipoh at 4pm. I hope I can go to Sunway Lagoon again to enjoy wet and dry park for one whole day.

To Continue..."Lonely Christmas"

Continue....

He's back and say nothing...didn't he read my message?

He acted to be as usual this morning. I didn't talk much to him. His friend then asked him out for breakfast. He gave me a short inform and I acted cool enough and said,"U go la!"

At 5pm today, he asked whether to have dinner with my parents tonite at ICCC. I rejected and told him that there will be events going on there. He insisted to join for dinner, so I just informed him to meet at 7:30pm at East Ocean Restaurant in Menglembu. This is not the first time like that. Things will just go without any discussion between us. Nvm la, since there is not much love in us already. I think we still stick together all because of our children. Sometimes I just have hard feelings on that.

Lonely Christmas

I love Christmas since I was a child. I love Christmas songs and decorations, especially the feeling of this warmth and happy celebration. But once again I was neglected. This is the 4th time since my marriage in yr 2002, that I was once again left at home, having the Christmas countdown alone!

I just can't understand why my hubby treat me like this. He said that he went to look for his boss at The Bird (an old man pub, that's what I was told). Ok then. Can't he bring me along? Or couldn't he come back a bit early to have countdown with me? Maybe he does not understand me well. I'm a person who likes to be crowded, having fun outside especially on those celebration days. Everything is just not the same like before marriage......

He wished me "Merry Christmas" thru message at 12am but I just replied,"Merry? I used to have a lonely and boring Christmas since yr 2002!" and then I off the h/p.

Oops.. he's back. To be continue....

Winter Season

Today is a special day for the Chinese. We call it "冬至" in Mandarin but I name it 'Winter Season'. This is a special occassion where we have reunion dinner with family and of course making "汤圆" or "glutinous rice ball", that's what I say, to serve the GOD. After that we serve ourselves with it! :p

Look at the "汤圆", some of them were made by my Wei Wei. I was impressed to see a 4-year-old helping her 'poh poh' with it. I even taught her to mix the white and pink together. And here it is, cute little rice ball. She loves to eat too, because with the sweet syrup.

As for my Zhen Nam, aihhh...I have prepared some glutinous dough for him to play. He played for just seconds then he walked away. He felt sticky and uncomfortable. Maybe I should get some tools out for him to play with dough......

Attend To A Wake

Kent's 2nd uncle (son of big grandma) has passed away yesterday. Kent and I attended a wake at the dead's house. According to the buddhist cultures, the dead's family has to invite a few monks or nuns to pray and read for the dead 2 or 3 nights before the body is buried or burnt.

It was a peaceful scene. Nobody cries, but not sure about his big wife coz can't see her out of her house whole night. This man has two wives too, following his father's footstep. Anyway, Kent's uncle is already 74 years old, considered long life. He was dead because ulcers a lot on his stomach organ while his two kidneys were spoilt. It makes more concern of own health.

For those who would like to try their luck, go for a strike on number 8721 in magnum, toto or 3D. I got this number from the "MERCEDES" for our dead uncle!!

A Fight In The Car

I was driving that time, heading to San Macro ice-cream house together with my parents, Yan and Chung for dinner. Zhen Nam was sitting on his car seat. Because of the noise from the back ~ Wei was playing with Yan and Chung, Nam started to action....standing on car seat, wanting to move to the back to join those children. How dangerous!

My mum then asked Wei to sit in front on the car seat. Nam seemed to understand and quickly stuck his butt on the seat. My Wei started to cry very loud. We advised her to give in, but she cried even louder! She is always jealous about her bro coz we all take Nam into place first in whatever situation. Actually she was sleepy that time, that's why she played tantrum a lot. She cried throughout the journey. Oh My God!! Really, Nam didn't even move but just looking at Wei.

Wei forced to pulled up the handle, making herself to squeeze in. Nam was not behind. He pulled down the handle with all his might...ha.. ha..Eventually we carried Nam away by force and Wei then fell asleep right on the seat. This time is Nam who began to cry.........

ICCC Children's X'mas Party

ICCC (Ipoh City & Country Club), which is located at Kampar Road, has organized a X'mas party for the children today from 1pm till 4.pm. There were events like colouring contest, fancy dress contest and show performance. They provided buffet Hi-tea as well.

I brought along my kids, my godsis and godbro, together with my mum. I even enrolled my Wei Wei and godsis for the colouring contest. My girl was some sort of lazy, I can say. She supposed to take 1hr15mins to complete her 'Santa Claus', BUT she just finished within 1/2hr. How well can it be! She coloured the 'Santa Claus' in blue and somemore with 'BLACK' beard!! She complained that she was tired ~ it maybe so coz she went for Eng class in MRC early that morning. Nvm la, at least she gained some experience.

We are very lucky that day. Out of 5 numbers, we striked 4 lucky numbers on lucky draw! We got a box of 36 colours oil pastels (sponsored by WOC), and some cheap cheap tissue boxes and h/p radiation protectors (sponsored by AmBank).

These were the fancy dress contestants. Guess who's the winner! Of course it's the Snow White. She is so elegant. I think she learns ballet. Hope that my Wei has the chance to participate next year.

Look at the highlights of the party! Children can't wait to see the big 'Monkey' and 'Santa Claus' in mascot. They gave out candies and ice-creams for the children. Yum..Yum... Wei Wei was enjoying her ice-cream.

Snapshot and Sushi at Jusco

There is a stage at ground floor decorated with Christmas scene. Hard to take my son's photo because he is too busy running around. Just managed to snap a few. My Wei Wei loves taking photos but she is awkward in posing herself. The thing is, she does not know how to 'SMILE'!!

We all love sushi, especially my mother and son. See! Yum yum....Fingers licking good ya... :) ~ scene taken at Sushi King

Hubby's Birthday Cake

This photo was taken on Kent's birthday last November. Look at my two children. They are very alike with their 'papa', especially my son, with the "trademark" head shape of Liew's family.....he..he..

This is the funny cake I prepared for him 4 days before his big day. Actually Amy was there in Left Shore that day because she wanted to make a birthday cake for his boy too. At the same time, Ah Soon asked me to order one more cake for Shirley. That made Amy and I thought of making fun at Shirley.

Jacelyn: Hey, what to write on top of her cake ya?

Amy : Hmm.. Let me see.. Why not,"老婆,你已好美了,省点用吧!" He..he...

Jacelyn: Ha..ha..ha...Soooooo funny!! Then how about my hubby's cake? I don't want
those 'Happy Birthday, Darling'. I want something different.

Amy : "衰佬,饮少点吧!" Good? Fit for a beer lover like him. Ha..ha..ho..

Jacelyn: Ok, ok. I love this. He..he..ho..ho..

On 27th night, Kent, Shirley (same birthday) and Amy(which is on the 22nd) celebrated together at e-box karaoke. We had fun singing all popular songs of Justin, famous singer now from HK till 1am.

My Ever First Experience On Blog!

At last, I can create my own blog for the very first time!

I have been very out-dated in computer matters since my graduation in USM, Penang, year 2000. All the while, I just know how to operate Microsoft Office coz job needed, and very seldom go online. BUT NOT FOR TODAY ANYMORE!! I get to know that creating a blog is not even fun, expand my social life by getting to know bloggers, but we can even make money from it. I have two good friends who are doing well in this. They encourage me to expose myself to the advance digital world of today. Really thanks them for helping.

Here I am now, getting started.......
