New Brand In M'sia

I saw this product on promotion while passing through the hall in Jusco last month. Watson was having sales on where p.r.e (PURE RADIANT ENERGY) skincare product is one of the items being exhibited. p.r.e is an all-natural water-based skincare formulation with ingredients made from vegetable and plant extracts, vitamins, polypeptides, antioxidants and natural oil. Its gentle and potent ingredients minimise pores clogging, and allowing high absorption of skin. It is suitable for all Asian skin types. Besides, it is free from animal derivatives and harsh chemicals too.

I tried and I find that it doesn't contain any fragrance, but the product is milky, something like goat's milk. Of course, they are not real goat's milk.....:p soothing but if you are expecting a total clean face without greasy feel after face cleansing, then you shouldn't take this! This is a moisturing type. I bought its eye serum yesterday, see.....


hiau..hiau..la, must try everything new....it costs RM113 after discount. p.r.e product is imported direct from Canada. You can get this from Watson and other specific pharmacies. That's why it has higher price than other pharmacy products like Loreal, Bio-Essence and Neutrogena. The eye serum is known as the hottest product in p.r.e range. Results proved to reduce fine lines and dark circle, firm up and hydrate eye area. It's very watery, but I doubt its effect. Nvm la, give it a try, see whether I'll look younger or not!! ....eyes tell our age....eerrr...scary.....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY !

As I mentioned earlier, I went out for dinner with hubby and kids last night to celebrate MY day together in advance. While waiting for me to get ready last night, we had a little argument. I think he was uneasy with what I wrote about him in my previous tag, http://mummyinvain.blogspot.com/2007/05/10-ways-he-pissed-me-off-about-hubby_10.html !
I know he's egoistic, but I don't know that he'll take it too seriously. I'm slow and I took up around 45 mins to get myself and kids ready before going out for dinner. He asked to go out at 7pm but instead, I was ready only at 7:35pm. He then started to urge and grumble. He said he is that impatient type of man as mentioned in my tag.....urgh....this made me angry....I hate people rushing me! It makes me tense!!!!

I kept a long face and was quiet along the way to Ipoh Parade. We took buffet at IroIro, review can be read in my food blog. Just a normal dinner to me....aihh...anyway, forget about all those unhappy things la....the purpose for my post here is to show you all something beautiful.....scroll down ya......

The hall in Ipoh Parade is decorated so beautifully with balloons. These are mainly to celebrate the appreciation season to mothers around the world.




Yesterday, it was also the launching of the biggest heart-shaped balloons, specially designed for this special occassion. It has been on the Malaysia World's Book Record, and it's worth a glance! It is at the hall in ground floor, background of the stage. There was supposed a group of teenage girls playing music band on the stage, but unfortunately I missed the snapping. If you happen to be there, you should snap photos for your own album.

There is a counter for donation as well. It is run by the Ipoh Love & Care Society, where they sell balloons for RM10 in raising donation fund. 80% of the money will be donated to the needies. I bought 2 for my kids. How can I just buy one?! They will fight like cubs!!!!





I guess this counter will be there for a few days more. Whoever Ipohians want to make some good deed, please go there fast.

How To Celebrate MY Day?

I asked hubby how to celebrate Mother's Day. He then says that we ask both of our mums out for dinner in the restaurant. Fine enough. I then asked him,"How about me?"

Hubby: You??? Ask your kids to celebrate for you la....*grinned*

Me: *be gentle* My kids are still small, you as hubby should celebrate on behalf of them as an appreciation to me mar.......

Hubby: huh?? ok la, how to celebrate? Why not we just go out for dinner tonight. I know you want to try the buffet in Ipoh Parade, want it?

Me: Yes, sure. Let's bring our kids together ya....

So, there'll be an outing tonight. There will be a post about the buffet dining room in my food blog tomorrow.....

10 Ways He Pissed Me Off (About Hubby That I Dislike)

Shoppingmum tagged me on this. She knows my husband well, but she still want to see how I write on this.....naughty ya...ok, I'll try to crack my head on thisssss...10 things that I dislike hubby.

1) As most of my loyal readers know (if they have read my previous posts early yr2007, about my marriage...), my hubby's biggest weakness is too egoistic! His 'face' is more important than me. We often quarrelled because of this before my marriage danger occurred.

2) He is seldom on my side. He'll side his friends and parents more than me. How come ar?? I'm his wife wor...No matter right or wrong, shouldn't he be supporting me?

3) He is always not around. Whenever I'm in trouble, I can't call him for help as I know he might be busy or in outstation. I can only count on my own parents if I need a hand.....

4) He is quite clumsy, can say clumsier than me! He is a spoilt child in his family. He doesn't know how to fix a light bulb, hammer racks or even catch a lizard or cockroach! I'm scared of all insects and I need a brave and strong man to protect me....but....aiyo, he is even more frightened than me! Alamak!!! How can we survive when we move to our new house? I want him to grow into a real man!

5) He is not romantic at all. He says those men who present flowers, sing love songs, say those sweet sweet words ......etc. to girlfriends or wives are silly men! ........sorry if I have insulted those men out there! Actually women love romance, even we are married, agreed ladies?

6) He is very impatient. He can't walk leisurely with me while shopping. In fact, we very seldom go shopping together, not even with kids. He is like rushing hours. I'll feel tension while shopping with him. I rather go alone, or with my mum together with kids, and I can manage to buy whatever I want slowly and steadily.

7) He will never wait for me to finish my meal, while breakfast or lunch, together with my family, then he'll walk away to his car. How rude! He claims that he wants to start the aircond first, so that I won't feel hot wor.....I just don't believe him! He is the one who wants to enjoy the aircond in the car coz the weather is hot outside.

8) He never listen to my advice. If he's sick, I always ask him to go see doctor, but he'll always refuse to follow my advice. I remind him to drink more water or eat less curry, but he never listen to me.....aihhh...weird man.....maybe he doesn't like people to kongkong him a lot.


2 more to go.....but I'm already out of clues liao....go go go.....i'm thinking hard.....

9) He snores when he sleeps. Sometimes if he's too loud, I really can't sleep. Anyway, it's a small matter to me, as he's always back home late. I am asleep liao lor by the time he reaches home.

10) Oh, almost forget the most important clue. I like his character before marriage. He is totally a different person to me now. I really miss whatever he said and did to me when we pathor that time.......sooooo sweeet one orrr...NOW! He is just like a "dead log"!!

OK, done. wow... I really can think of so many clues that I dislike him. I told him about this before I write, I said that I can't but only think of 3 clues, but see now....so, the next 5 ladies that I'm going to pass this assignment on are..........

Beware Of Someone.....

ShoppingMum warned me today that I should beware of a blogger named Nicole. I can't remember whether she dropped by my blog, but somehow her name sounds familiar to me. I was warned that this blogger likes to copy other's post and paste it on her blog instead, then edit a bit. Why does she do that? It's quite annoying. I just don't hope that she copied my ppp post and pasted on her blog!

Just hope that she won't do it again. And I hope to take this opportunity to alert my readers on this.

The conversation between hubby and I started in the car while we were out for breakfast few days ago.

Me : Do you know that I went for brunch at Happy Valley Cafe with your kids last Tuesday?

Hubby : I know.

Me : *roll eyes* Huh? How come you know?

Hubby : My friend saw you there. Don't ask, you don't know them!

Me : Then if I didn't see them before, how do they know that I'm your wife?

Hubby : They told me that they saw a woman with 2 kids. Those kids seem very like me. Then I asked in return, how the woman look like.

Me : *blinking eyes* Yalo, what did they say? A pretty and fair lady....??

Hubby : Nope, they just told me they saw the woman busy snapping photo on the food and drinks....then I agreed that they met my wife....

Me : hee..hee..it's already a habit when dining out... ~ interrupted....

Hubby : So, whenever there is some guys staring at you, don't be mistaken by them that they think you look beautiful, ok? They maybe just one of my friends....

Me : *angry face* You eat shit la !!!......LOL

Superb Spiderman 3 !!!

Super movie is back with episode 3 in cinema since last Tuesday in Ipoh. Lovelymummy's hubby bought tickets for us since Thurday night. Guess what? He couldn't get the 9:30pm show on Sat even he bought tickets 2 days earlier! No choice, he just took the 11:30pm show, and he could manage to get the 5th rows from the screen!

Look! It was so crowdy last night. I heard that cinema gave it 10 shows a day, and every show was full house. Incredible! The movie is around 2 1/2 hrs long. I like the story this time. It contains a lot of sentimental parts. I prefer this to Spiderman2. You can view Spiderman3 site with photos and cast details.

Enjoy Spa For The Evening

It was yesterday that I went spa together with ShoppingMum. I have longed to go but was very busy lately. My 8 times course has been signed since mid of last year, and I still have 3 more to go, can imagine how long it is already le....

I ususally have my spa in The Relax Spa. Can you see the sign board above? It's upstairs, and just go up by the entrance at the side on the right. Lead you for a tour in this beautiful centre from here......

Picture on the left is the place for resting like reading magazine, actually just for decoration. Picture on the right is one of the spa room. I took my salt spa here yesterday. Do you know how
does salt spa look like? I thought very muddy one, but actually 'cheh', you all have a look! Anyway, they do give a plate of scrub salt for addition use. The girl there asked me to use the lemon slices to scrub my joints parts too to remove dead skin.

If someone here would like to enjoy spa with spouse, here is the tub....neh....



syiok right? I also hope to enjoy but my hubby is damn busy. No chance for me here. :(

I then proceeded to massage room.


The girl is strong but lack of experience while massaging. Anyway, better than those freshy a lot! The service here is good, but unluckily they are out of water when we were there yesterday. I can't take my shower bath before spa, just to bathe with a bucket and a pail, so pity... :(

Besides spa and massage, they provide hair do and facial service too. Left is the mini hair saloon, while right is the beauty products for displayed. Can say Ladies One-Stop Beauty Centre here! I was informed that I'm one of the lucky member who is entitled a special facial for only RM19.90. I'm thinking to try it out, but hope that they won't give me a red plum face after that! Painful and ugly then....LOL

Sore Throat Again ...

I can be easily affected by disease like flu and cough, especially sore throat! I can say, I get sore throat at least once each month. My mum always grumbles that I eat a lot of fried stuff and drink too much of coffee. I admit that I drink coffee almost everyday, but only a glass. As for fried stuff, no, I don't take much but she claims that toast breads and grill fish are considered fried food. Aiyo, if can't eat everything, what my life will be! Agree?

My throat was not feeling well since Monday. My flu then started to 'visit' since yesterday. I'm not going to see doctor first, as I'm lazy to wait for the long queue. That doctor is good. I took some herbs ~ those bitter soup, and this too!

Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa

It is a mixture of natural herbs, loquat and honey extracts. It tastes sweet but with some mint flavour, and my Wei doesn't like it at all. It is used traditionally for relief of sore throat, cough and to reduce phlegm. I find it works for my throat and I'm much better now after taking for around 2 days (3 times a day).

Of course, I did take some flu pills to control my mucus. Maybe it's the effect of both Chinese and Western meditation that made me well again! Try it, fellow bloggers, if your illness is still not in serious stage.

Yoga Lessons......

I started my yoga lessons since don't know when already. I remember I joined together with ShoppingMum, then few months later, she stopped as she was expecting her youngest child. Her child is already 1 year old, I guess it has been almost 2 years then.
