新年快乐!
。。。。。。。。ei, ei, Ang Pow Come Come...for my kids mar...
Look at my 2 lovely kids here, in their beautiful new, red clothes. Wei's eyes were watching tight at the cartoons in TV while my boy was happy with his mandarins in hand. I was in red dress too. MIL cooked noodles and vege for us as breakfast, then we all headed to Grandma's house (MIL side). Most of the uncles and aunts were there. I gave out ang pows to the cousins, nephews and nieces. Due the bad economical year, the aunts gave only RM2 ang pow for my kids, but in return I gave out RM5 to all. Aiya.....rugi la. I swear that I'll give only RM2 next year. :p
I was taking care of my children the whole afternoon while hubby sneaked out to look for friends. He is just not that type who can stay at home for 24hrs, not even with children around. Hubby came home around 6:30pm, and we then got ready to go out for dinner with my family at Public Restaurant in town. You may go to my Yum-Yum Cuisine for some photos enjoyment.
Day 2
I supposed to go to my mum's house in the afternoon ~ Chinese tradition again, married daughters can only go home on the 2nd day of CNY, but my parents came to visit PIL in Chemor. My MIL invited the lion dance team to put on a show for us. The lion dance came with the heavy drumming, which is believed to scare away the evil and bring good luck to the family. This was the first time my boy experienced it, but he was happy to see it.

The 2nd day of CNY is always my MIL's birthday. As usual, we went for a dinner at Cheong Seng Restaurant located at Kuala Kangsar Road. My parents and hubby's friends attended the dinner too. During the dinner, I heard hubby discussing with his friends about their programme later that night. I was curious whether he would ask me to go along with him. Beyond my expectation, he didn't intend to ask me out with him! I was furious. I scolded him for not bringing me along.
Me: Where are you going? Why can't I come along? You are just going to enjoy with your friends and not with your boss! They are my friends too.
Hubby: *guilty a bit* I thought you have to take care of kids mar....ok, ok, come come, let's go!

We then had fun at Time Zone 2, one of the new happening place in Ipoh Garden East. I was still angry and grumbled in front of his friends. I then stopped and not talking much that night coz I remembered that he wanted his 'face' soooo.. much. I know we might fight again if I continued to grumble.
